Panorama Student and Community Surveys

NLMUSD values the feedback of students, staff and families. In an effort to continue high quality, rigorous learning experiences and social-emotional support for students the district has partnered with Panorama Education to administer surveys to our stakeholders.

The information for these surveys helps inform our programs, LCAP, and school planning. Teachers and counselors can also deliver student support and interventions utilizing the Panorama Playbook.

Student surveys

Students in grades 3-12 take two surveys, a Culture and Climate Survey and a Social-Emotional survey. The survey takes between 15-20 minutes to complete and will be an invaluable source of information for us as we work to make our schools and district as good as they can be. Topics in these surveys include:

Climate of Support for Academic Learning
Knowledge of Fairness of Discipline, Rules and Norms
Safety
Sense of Belonging (School Connectedness)
Growth Mindset
Self-Management

Student Survey Samples

Although voluntary, we recommend that all students in grades 3-12 take these surveys. You can opt-out your child from taking this survey by contacting your school.

Parent/Guardian Surveys

We value input from our community, and use this input to make our schools the best they can be.

Our annual School Climate survey is conducted in the Spring. Topics include:

School Climate and Culture
Positive Relationships
School Safety

Each family receives an email invite to take this survey from our survey partner, Panorama Education. This year the survey window is from March 20 - 31, 2023.

If you are a Parent/Guardian of a NLM student and have not received by your invite by March 21, let us know.
